Unbooked Surgery
We have
an unbooked surgery for patients that need to be seen on the same day. Please
contact the surgery between 8.30 and 10.00am and you will be given an approximate
time to present at the surgery.
Emergency Treatment - Surgery Hours
Please
telephone 793444. After taking brief details the receptionist will contact the
duty doctor. If appropriate and it is medically possible for you to attend the
surgery you will be given an appointment by the doctor. Should there be any delay
or difficulty in contacting the surgery and the patient is unconscious, suffering
heavy blood loss, severe breathlessness or chest pain you should dial 999 and
request an ambulance.
Emergency
Treatment - Out of Hours
Out-of-hours
service is provided by PRIMECARE. Please contact the surgery on 01446 793444
when you will be automatically transferred to the emergency number. A trained
health professional will advise whether you need to see a doctor and, if so,
will provide an appointment to attend the Primary Care Centre.
These services are commissioned by the Vale of Glamorgan Local Health Board.

FREEDOM
OF INFORMATION – PUBLICATION SCHEME
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication
Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes'
of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
This scheme is available from reception.
ZERO
TOLERANCE
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending any of
our surgeries who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically
or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice
list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the
practice premises.
